Yogasana & Qigong – Settle and comfortably rest in your BODY.
After a brief introduction from Mark and Haruko, you will begin this sequence of practice with movement incorporating both yogasana and Qigong postures. You will be guided to be able to create deep release of muscular and fascial tension. In addition, the movements will clear any stagnancy in the Organs and the subtle body Channels.
Singing Bowl Sound Bath – Quiet and become still in your MIND.
The singing bowl was originally a Buddhist instrument used by ordinary Tibetan priests for ceremonies. The striking of the bowlin certain ways produces harmonics that increase the EEG waves and the θ waves in the brain. These waves lead the mind into a deeply relaxing meditative state. The vibrations from the bowls also improve blood circulation, which leaves the body in a more refreshed state. Quiet and become still in your MIND.
Yoga Nidra – Dive deep and expand in the vast wholeness of your SELF.
A guided meditation to invite your awareness into deeper parts of your consciousness. This facilitates healing from inside, out. This healing takes the form of lessening emotional blockages and stilling the mind so awareness may settle deeply into the vast space ofwhat is called the True Self.

Mark Shveima will be your guide for the Yogasana & Qigong, and Yoga Nidra portions of the Deep Healing sequence. Mark’s recent dive into the study and practice of Qigong has yielded new avenues of practice and healing for him that he will be offering in this session. He began teaching Yoga Nidra soon after he discovered it in 2007 via Richard Miller’s work.
The first time Haruko Inoue was introduced to the power of healing thru Singing Bowl Sound Bath, she was so deeply transformed by the experience that she took up the study and practice of this ancient healing art. Recently she has begun to offer it as an intrinsic part of her teaching of Yoga.
